Lorentz - AUv3 Plug-in Synth

Lorentz is a resonator-based, AUv3-compatible analog modeling synthesizer developed by iceWorks Inc. It is a powerful tool for creating metallic and distorted sounds.

The synthesizer engine features unstable and fluctuating oscillators with unisonable sawtooth waves, pulse width modulated square waves, sub square waves, and noise. These waveforms can be mixed simultaneously, allowing for a wide range of sonic possibilities. The filter has a self-oscillating resonance, adding depth and character to the sounds.

Lorentz is a universal app, compatible with iPad, iPhone, and Apple Silicon Mac. However, it is important to note that it is not compatible with Macs with Intel CPUs.

This product supports only AUv3 plug-in format, which means it can be used as an AUv3 Plug-In in a host application that supports AUv3. It is not compatible with other plug-in formats.

Please be aware that depending on the parameter settings, loud sounds may be produced. Lorentz is not intended for accurately reproducing the sound of acoustic instruments or other synthesizers. It has been specifically developed to create the unique sound of this synthesizer itself.

While Lorentz mainly contains basic presets that serve as a starting point for sound creation, it does not offer a huge amount of presets. However, it provides ample opportunities for users to explore and craft their own sounds.
